Biography

I'm an artist, born in Mexico City and working in Texas. I make paintings on canvas, and different fabrics such as linens and velvet. Channeling a stream of consciousness, I pull from both real and imagined while using a form of automatic painting to guide me.

As an artist, I find myself captivated by the intricate aspects that shape our understanding and memory of the world that envelops us. My artistic pursuits lead me into the depths of the human soul, with a particular fascination into the realms of dreams and the subconscious, which hold a profound influence on our self-awareness.

I perceive dreams as gateways to uncovering the very core of our perception. In my perspective, art serves as a powerful tool for self-discovery and exploration, with my paintings becoming embodiments of this inner journey. Through my creative endeavors, I strive to distill complex human emotions and abstract ideas into tangible forms that resonate with, and are accessible to everyone in their everyday lives.
