2011 Pop Up: Highland Park Village

This limited time only( July-December) gallery --located opposite Hermes/CAFÉ PACIFIC-- will exhibit a regularly revolving selection of inventoried works by museum-quality Impressionist, Modern, and Contemporary artists, including: Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, David Bates, James Surls, Damien Hirst, Stephen Hannock & Andy Warhol…..and the Pop-up will also host museum-quality sculpture throughout Highland Park Village, beginning with artist Will Ryman - -will install floral bronzes most recently displayed along twenty blocks of Park Avenue in Manhattan.
In addition, the Kristy Stubbs Gallery Pop-Up will feature solo artist exhibitions by several internationally acclaimed artists, Damien Hirst, Charming Baker, Polly Morgan & Dallas’ own Laura Wilson.
The pop-up will kick off the fall season late August with Laura Wilson’s photo-reportage of small-town Texas football: “GRIT & GLORY: Six-Man Football: Photographs by Laura Wilson,” which were recently exhibited at the Meadows Museum. Late autumn will find Wilson’s work with Richard Avedon: “Cowboys & Debutantes” hanging on the walls of suite 106.
A special feature of the Kristy Stubbs Gallery Pop-Up will be bi-weekly evening events unveiling the gallery’s most recently acquired works and newest exhibitions.
